Shubnum provides customized off-the-shelf training package
to meet specific agency needs related to management, organizational
and business improvement services. Such training is limited to
the services and products offered under 'Comprehensive Value Management Services', which is described separately.
Such training may be classified generally as Process Improvement.
A. Process Improvement
Two weeks prior to the training session,
Shubnum requests a narrative describing the nature of work of
the proposed trainees and their current practices as they relate
to Shubnum's Comprehensive Value Management Services
The training is conducted in three sessions
within one workday.
The first session introduces the Comprehensive Value Management Services
services and its supporting products. It demonstrates past applications
and relates them to the existing nature of the work of the trainees.
This session is conducted with a slide show and a commentary
on process improvement. The second session is an interactive
verbal session that encourages participation of the trainees
to bring forth their work and discuss its applications to the
new products and services. The third session blends the first
and second session to make the products and services more meaningful
to the trainees. This session uses the raw data provided by the
trainees to discuss the application and optimization of the new
products and services to the personnel.
A minimum of five with a maximum of ten
trainees provide an ideal interactive learning environment. The
training may be expanded to a second day if the same trainees
request a second day of the sessions with an expanded second
and/or third session of the previous day.
The training may be conducted as a seminar,
workshop or a Charette. A brief description follows:
Seminar: This is primarily a one-way presentation,
supported with slides with a question and answer period towards
the end.
Workshop: This is an interactive working
session with a discussion of problems and solutions.
Charette: This is an interactive hands-on
working session with a discussion of problems, solutions and
training on-line on the software.
